The Start of Something New

Hello there! My name is Abigail Blythe Wennerstrom, and I am the curly haired babe behind Ink+Honey. I pinky promise I am working on a more formal introduction to be published later in an "About Me" section, but I just wanted to start off by saying hi! 👋🏻

I live in Nashville, Tennessee and am married to my Mountain Man husband. I spend a great majority of my time hand binding books into the perfect canvas for the most important stories (yours! duh). However, when I am not doing that, I can be found binge watching a good BBC program, reading a dystopian novel in the bath, or brunching with my best gal pals.

I am so excited to re-launch the Ink+Honey blog on a new forum! The focus of the Ink+Honey blog will specifically give insider photos of custom books I am working on, secret back stories, pages from my own journal, the occasional contest or giveaway, and something I am very excited about: artist interviews.

There are some really amazing artists in the world, but sometimes we are all limited by the lack of information we have. My goal is to introduce you to some of my absolute favorite artists through blog interviews. I have discussed some very exciting collaborations that are in the works for this year and I would love to give you an insider view into some artists that have influenced me, befriended me, and inspired me. My personal creative philosophy is that there is room for all artists at the table and that every story is important, so I am on a mission to bring you some of my favorite stories via some of my favorite artists. So stay tuned for that!

Since I'm sharing, I am also very excited to announce a collaboration with my dear friend, Jonny Pendergrass, who is rebranding Ink+Honey! Jonny is a constant fount of ideas and is currently in the process of creating a new logo that best expresses what Ink+Honey is all about! I've seen some first drafts and almost peed my pants with excitement. Don't be surprised to see some changes in the coming months!

XOXO 4ever,

Abigail

P.S. The next blog will feature a project especially close to my heart, so be on the look out for that!
